Our interest in food experiences has grown more and more in the last years, and gradually the founding ideas also crept in…could we initiate the process of creating a food-destination? Can we create a concept that will send the right employees our way? Is the marked in Mosjøen ready for this? We believe so…

Our education and background as a kindergarten teacher and entrepreneur are probably a long way from starting a restaurant business. Our foundation and concept is based on a passion for finding and creating the complete experiences linked to food and wine. This applies both in terms of travelling around experiencing food destinations, as well as exploring in the kitchen ourselves. The goal has been, and always is, to find the good flavors and combinations based on high-quality raw materials.

We slowly began the hunt of a suitable premises for our concept, and we fell in love with a property in Sjøgata which was initially not for sale. Nevertheless, we phoned the owners and said that if they ever thought of selling, we were very interested. When they heard about our plans and the drive we had to start up a restaurant with high ambitions, they became positive and open to the idea of selling. In the summer of 2023 it became a reality; we were to buy the unique Barth property in historic Sjøgata.
